A premier Kiko breeding farm located on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula
Our primary breeding goal at Wild Hearts Ranch is to produce healthy, hardy goats that are capable of providing both meat and milk for our farm with minimal input. Kiko goats are ideal for this purpose because of their dairy influence as well as their ability raise large, well muscled offspring with strong feet and high parasite resistance.
In addition to our purebred Kiko stock, we have a number of does from different breeds known for dairy and meat production which will be crossbred with Kikos to emphasis their desirable traits. Those offspring that meet our requirements can be graded up through the generations and eventually achieve purebred status. We also breed registered Genemasters, a recognized hybrid between Kikos and Boer goats.
Our herd is tested negative for CAE, CL, and Johnes through WADDL.
